To ensure strength and durability, the base was prepared using a high-quality MOT Type 1 sub-base, followed by SMA tarmac (Stone Mastic Asphalt), a premium material known for its smooth finish, excellent load-bearing strength, and long-lasting performance. A double Cashel cobble border was added around the perimeter, giving the driveway a distinctive and attractive edge that complements the property beautifully.
